Yoga instructor Karen Shelley and sommelier and wine educator Sarah Tracey have teamed up to help you enjoy a beautiful summer Sunday. We'll begin with a one-hour yoga practice in Fort Greene Park* (Brooklyn), centered on the heart chakra which is associated with love, balance, and the color green. The yoga session will be an open-level, gentle flow. After a focused class filled with heart openers, we'll make our way to the tasting room in Karen's home (we may enjoy a few sips along the way!). Keeping with the "green" theme from our heart chakra practice, Sarah will present a selection of wines from vinyards that specialize in green practices. We'll taste a sampling of organic, biodynamic, sustainable, and natural wines. We're pretty sure this is the best pairing in town.
pace is limited, and preregistration is required. Earlybird rates end June 24.
