Virtual Tasting Experiences
Interactive, expertly hosted tastings for teams, clients, and groups… wherever they’re gathering from.
The Lush Life creates live virtual tastings featuring wine, whiskey, tequila, mixology, cheese, chocolate, charcuterie styling, and more.
We coordinate the details, ship kits directly to participants when needed, and host the experience with plenty of expertise, personality, and momentum — so it feels less like another video call and more like an actual event people are happy they attended.
Our virtual events have been featured in Fortune and The Huffington Post.
Choose Your Experience
Whether you want something educational, celebratory, hands-on, or simply a good reason to get everyone together, we offer virtual experiences for a range of group sizes, interests, and occasions.
Built for Remote Teams, Clients, and Groups
The Lush Life hosts virtual tasting experiences for team building, client entertaining, employee appreciation, new-hire welcomes, leadership gatherings, employee resource groups, holiday celebrations, and private events.
The format can be intimate and conversational or scaled for larger audiences. We’ve hosted virtual tastings for groups of up to 300 guests, and we know how to keep the experience lively even when there are a lot of little squares on the screen.
We Handle the Logistics
A virtual event should not create a second job for the person planning it.
The Lush Life can coordinate sourcing, packaging, participant addresses, and shipment of tasting or activity kits directly to your guests. If your group is spread across multiple states or regions, we’ll also help think through shipping requirements and the best way to structure the experience.
We’ll make it clear what we need, when we need it, and what happens next — because nobody booked a virtual tasting hoping to become a part-time fulfillment manager.
Designed for Participation, Not Passive Watching
Our virtual tastings are built to keep people involved. Guests are tasting, mixing, comparing, asking questions, sharing opinions, and usually discovering that someone on the team has surprisingly strong feelings about Rioja.
The host keeps things moving, brings personality to the room, and creates plenty of openings for conversation without forcing interaction. The goal is a polished experience with real energy — not an hour of staring politely at slides while everyone wonders if their camera can stay off.
Meet Your Lead Host
Sarah Tracey, Certified Sommelier & Founder of The Lush Life
Sarah Tracey is a Certified Sommelier, wine educator, mixologist, lifestyle writer, and wine contributor for Martha Stewart with more than 20 years of hospitality experience.
Before founding The Lush Life, Sarah worked as a Beverage Director in Michelin-starred New York City restaurants and in event operations at City Winery New York. Today, she leads The Lush Life’s tasting and event programs and personally hosts many of our virtual experiences.
Since 2020, The Lush Life has hosted more than 400 virtual and in-person experiences, from intimate private gatherings to corporate events for hundreds of guests.
Why the host matters…
A great virtual tasting depends just as much on the person leading it as the bottles in the box. Our events may be led by Sarah, or one of The Lush Life’s trusted sommeliers, beverage educators, or culinary hosts — these are all highly experienced professionals selected for their expertise, warmth, and ability to keep a virtual room engaged.
Our hosts know how to read the room, keep the pace moving, bring quieter guests into the conversation, and let the more enthusiastic personalities have their moment without letting them take over the entire Zoom.
The result feels warm, responsive, and human — which is exactly what a virtual event needs.
Trusted by Teams and Brands
The Lush Life has created virtual and in-person experiences for leading companies across technology, hospitality, healthcare, finance, communications, and beyond.

Tell us your date, approximate guest count, and which experience you’re interested in.
From there, we’ll recommend the best-fit format and take you through the logistics, including kit timing, participant information, shipping, and event-day details.
Not sure which experience is right for you? Share a little about your group, the occasion, and what you want the event to accomplish, and we’ll help shape the right tasting experience from there.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you ship kits directly to participants?
Yes. We coordinate kits and ship them directly to individual participants.
How far in advance should we book?
Virtual tasting events generally require a minimum of 14 days’ lead time once we have your participants’ shipping addresses in order to guarantee timely delivery of tasting kits.
If you have your date in mind, we recommend reaching out earlier so there is plenty of time to finalize the experience, collect addresses, and coordinate shipping.
We might be able to work with a shorter lead time window if clients upgrade shipping speeds— just inquire and we’ll see what we can do!
Can you host large groups?
Yes. We have hosted virtual experiences for groups of up to 300 guests, as well as smaller programs where conversation and interaction are the focus.
What platform do you use?
We host on Zoom— or, we can work within Teams or your company’s preferred video platform when preferred.
Can you incorporate our own speakers or presenters into the program?
Yes. We’re happy to build the tasting around your broader event and can incorporate company leaders, guest speakers, brand partners, or other presenters into the run of show.
We can coordinate timing and transitions in advance so their remarks feel integrated into the experience rather than tacked on. This works especially well for client events, employee programs, product launches, company celebrations, and other virtual gatherings where the tasting is one part of a larger agenda.
Can the event be recorded?
Yes. Depending on the platform, your team may record the session directly, or we can discuss recording options as part of the event setup.
If you plan to record or distribute the session internally, just let us know in advance so we can make sure everyone is aligned on the format and logistics.
Can we use our own wine, spirits, or materials?
Often, yes. If your company already has products, a retail partner, or materials you would like to use, let us know and we can talk through the best way to build the experience around them.
Can you accommodate non-drinkers?
Absolutely. Depending on the experience, we can incorporate thoughtful non-alcoholic alternatives or recommend a format that allows everyone to participate comfortably.
Do you ship tasting kits outside the United States?
At this time, The Lush Life ships tasting kits within the United States only.
For international groups, we partner with another experienced provider that can handle overseas fulfillment, and we’re happy to make an introduction when that’s the better fit.
Can we provide our own shipping labels?
Yes. If your company has preferred carrier rates or would rather handle shipping through its own account, you’re welcome to provide prepaid shipping labels for the tasting kits.
We’ll coordinate the packing and fulfillment details with you so everything is labeled correctly and ready to go.
Can you customize the tasting kits?
Yes. Custom packaging and gifting options are available as upgrades and can include branded colors, custom labels or inserts, gift notes, company messaging, and additional gifted items packed alongside the tasting materials.
We can tailor the presentation to your event, brand, or campaign so the kits feel polished and intentional from the moment they arrive.
Because custom packaging and branded elements often require extra production time, additional lead time and minimum quantities may apply depending on the level of customization. We’ll outline those details clearly in your proposal.
Do you manage the event invitations?
Your team typically sends the event invitation so it comes directly from your company or host. We’ll provide everything you need to include, such as the event description, timing, participation details, and any deadlines guests should know.
We can also provide the process for collecting participant information and shipping addresses, so you don’t have to manage those details manually.
Do you have a minimum number of participants?
We do have minimum event pricing, but not necessarily a strict minimum guest count. Smaller groups are absolutely welcome; the experience is simply priced to meet the minimum event investment.
For virtual tastings, we’ll recommend the format and kit structure that makes the most sense for your group size.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes. For experiences that include food pairings or edible components, we can often accommodate common dietary restrictions and allergies with advance notice.
Because some kits are assembled from multiple products or vendors, accommodations may vary by experience. Let us know about any dietary needs when you inquire, and we’ll confirm what can be provided before the event.
Do you troubleshoot delivery issues?
Yes. If a tasting kit is delayed, lost, or otherwise fails to arrive as expected, we’ll help troubleshoot the issue and work with you on the best available solution.
When needed, we may be able to coordinate a local delivery or replacement of similar items so the participant can still take part in the event. Any replacement or local-delivery costs are the responsibility of the client and will only be arranged with your approval.
How much do virtual experiences cost?
Pricing depends on the experience, guest count, kit contents, shipping destinations, and any customizations or add-ons. Once we know the details, we’ll provide a clear proposal outlining the full event cost.
